Nah, my wife is really very helpful, she drives me around where I need to go (I don't drive much anymore these days, PTSD and all that) and helps haul all my junk as well. I couldn't ask for a more understanding woman.........

Now all I have to do is save up for a 8800 series card and the new soon to be released Swiftech Stealth 8800 series GPU block to go along with it..........

With any luck at all I'll have enough for a 8800 GTS card, then it's just a wait for the water block to be released and then there's a big question of how much will the monster cost.............. But as a wild guess, I'd say in excess of $100 easy as the APOGEE GTX runs $75 or so..

I'd assume the Guru of water-cooling would only have to ASK!

You want a good water-cooling setup, just copy Bio-Hazard. If they're smart, they'll try to talk you into running a sponsors banner on your rig.

If I could pull cash out of mattress like Bio-Hazard, I'd copy what works the best.

Just a little update to my rig, I just got around to installing the XFX 680i LT MoBo I got last month............... It seems to be a fairly nice board, but there are near as many voltage options as I had on my MSI board, we'll have to see if the lack of adjustments has any big affects on my maximum OC's.................... 8)

Looks good. Is my eyesight going yet or am I not seeing a SLI-set of 8800's being cooled down by a pair of Swiftech Stealth 8800 series GPU blocks yet??? Must be waiting for a newer model.

Just a couple of updated pics, cleaned things up a little and got rid of all the PATA drives now, so I'm rinning 100% SATA now.

CoreTemp doesn't display temps correctly on the new 1333 FSB C2D's, they should have a Tjunction of 100c instead of the 85c shown, so you basicly have to add 15 c to the temps shown, at least that's what they are saying right now until they come out with a updated version of coretemp................

I think that the Thermochill PA 120.3 might have something to do with the lower temps.................... The only thing that it's cooling is the CPU, a little over kill I think, but I hate heat.

Just a small update, I swapped out the MSI P6N SLi MoBo for a XFX 680I LT board during testing of my failed Corsair Dominator memory. So now I decided to keep the XFX board in the rig and I'm now using some cheap Mushkin Value ram while my Corsair stuff is off being RMA'd. I may just keep the Mushkin stuff in the rig because it runs the same timings as the Dominator at the same speeds I normally run at and all at less voltage. This Mushkin stuff totally rocks, and for 2 gigs for a low low price of $65, you can't beat it.

I also got a new Hot Swap HD rack the other day, it really makes life a lot easier using different OS's, it's a Icy Box 3.5 SATAII.

Image

I also cleaned up the wiring on the drive side of the case a little when I installed the new HD rack.
