Gotta agree with audiophile about the Catalyst drivers...got it with my 9800 when I had my old rig going; I got nothing but crap frame rates and BSOD's later on, until I finally had to wipe my system, but that's ok, I put an Xtasy 5864 in its place back then (got it on clearance), and had nothing but good luck with that one. Very stable GPU and drivers...Since I'm a cheapo and can't afford the 7800GTX, gonna have to go with the 6800GT instead, no big deal though, Doom 3 and HL2 still look good on this card

Just a small cooling update................
Replaced the PolarFlo TT water block with a Swiftech Storm, also replace the TT D4 pump with a new Swiftech MCP-655 pump to get rig of the pump noise. The combo dropped the load OC temp by another 2c. Looks like I'm getting it about as low as she'll go without going to something more extreme.

P.S. You all might be seeing it the Lan this weekend in St Louis if I can get the time free.

All 7 fans in the system are the new Evercool blue LED aluminum 120mm fans.

Holy crap man!!! I just started looking at the specs on this fan, and I think I am going to replace those stock Tt 120mm fans that come with the Tsunami Dream and replace them with 2 of the Evercool's you showed me bio. They flow almost 80 CFM, 80!!!! Now that is crazy to me, because the factory Tt's are like 36 CFM I think. Well worth the 11.95 a piece at Performance-PC's, plus they even replace the factory sleeving with that of your choice for no additional charge. I'm definitely sold, that's for sure

I don't see how you could get "more" extreme.Bio-Hazard wrote: Looks like I'm getting it about as low as she'll go without going to something more extreme.

you know bio, noise isn't a factor for me, because the rig will mainly be running while I'm up during the day, I don't plan on leaving it on overnight, with the exception for break-in and torture testing. I just like the fact it can flow that much air!! Need to keep the system cool somehow, and that sounds like an awesome solution, and for the price, oh yeah, I can appreciate that, not to mention that aluminum housing would look phat painted in blue UV reactive paint
