I have recently been offered, a 12" Ibm Touch screen monitor i have been told that its got some random plugs, unsure so far have not seen it but it cost me $3. Any ideas if i can get a plug to just plug it in like a normal monitor?

I imagine it has to have some sort of input plug to go with the monitor (i.e. feeding back inputs to the pc) rather then just the one that is outputing the information from the pc to the monitor.

yes, some touch screens have a usb connection, but i imagine it being older and having either a rs-232 or ps2.

But yes it is possible, i remember having a friend that had a touch screen playing CS and would just touch the head and get headshots. sucked!!!

Well after a week of waiting i finally picked up the monitor only to be disappointed by the lack of cables.. But i have found some one with the same monitor who couldn't find or buy the cable who has posted were to solder it, I've got a steady hand so I'm going to give it a shot after i found out which ones to solder were. You might be able to help me with this, as in which goes were.
