I know the guy that made this, and it's a pretty sweet case.

Completely made from scratch :P

Definitely a good job, but for overall aesthetics I like the Hellraiser Puzzle Box mod http://www.bit-tech.net/modding/2005/01 ... uzzlebox/1

That's a really neat case indeed.

I've seen one by Jessica Sheen.

If you have ever seen the Project Vash (Trigun) hand etched acrylic window of the main character, you'll be in real amazement too.

Using a raster to vector software on the logos and images, a person can convert the images to a simple CNC program to run on a table top CNC dremel machine. It's easy to do. My work place has four of these machines. Doing the 1000's of dots would take a little time, but all in all it would look similar to this Fusion AA machine's artwork. That would be my choice since I don't have a steady hand nor want my hand to go numb after making 1000's of dot for hours on end!

I'm not sold on the amount of green, and it'd probably look better in the black perspex or something, but he's done a good job with the materials he had ^_^
(Plus I think green is his favourite colour anyways :P)

As for the puzzle box, the etching really is top notch, but i think the texture of the base/monitor etc spoil the sexiness of the etching (I know he was going for the hellraiser look, but it looks better without the texturing imo)

Just checked that out, and yeah, that is a very nice mod. The etch job is stunning, paint finish is just right. A good balance between flash and subtlety. A case to be proud of ^_^

I wish I had the time/resources to complete a mod project like any of the ones mentioned here.

But ya for hand etch work this is totally kickass.
