Effectiveness of using a Dremel Tool to cut steel?

Ok, when I cut my side panel I used a jigsaw with a fine toothed blade and it kinda ripped up and bent the edges where it cut. The material is 0.8mm SECC Steel and I am wondering what (if any) cutting attachment for a Dremel tool would effectively cut this steel?
If not a Dremel, what would you recommend?

Dremel is the way to go get the fiberglass reinforced cutting wheels. Tape off your design and take your time! but it works. If you have a decent jigsaw with a very good blade then its not so bad, but your not going to bend your case with the Dremel.

Awesome, thanks

HAHA, ok, one more Q...
Do you think it would be a bad idea to try and affix a thin plexiglass window to a side panel using some good double-sided tape? Screws are just so tedious and not as good looking and if you don't line up every single screw hole just right with the case and window the whole thing gets warped and it's a PITA (yes I speak from experience...)

yeah some decent 3M tape should work just fine, you might want to rough up the edges with some sand paper just to give it more to hold on to but thats all.

I tape what I am cutting and then use a dremel tool. It helps keep the paint from getting chiped as bad from my expierence.

Yeah, I always mask off where I am cutting, it definately helps. But I am referring to actually attaching a window to the side panel (or anywhere for that matter).
Thanks for your help Infinitevalence!

I need to buy a dremel myself and then I can try to start modding a little.
