Cool mod, might try it on an old case I've got laying around (that is if I ever get the time) As for waking up furby, just replace the tilt sensor with a button. Of course it may take some trial and error but it shouldn't be to hard...Also, just wire a switch in paralell with the speaker to shut furby up (wire it so it shorts the speaker, if wired in series you will possibly get some noise out of the speaker when it is off)

just use a SPDT center off switch wired like

Up would kill sound, down would tell furby he's upsidedown and center would be business as usual :drinkers:

Why would anyone to put one of those in a case mod anyway??! Very good ending to a mod!

You have forgotten the hackers motto?

"Do it because it can be done!" :)

Also, check out Computer Controlled Furby (which is actually a fun read) and Schematics

I'm seriously considering buying one of these little buggers...heck I've even got an old touch pad I could incorporate in the mod to 'pet' furby...Yep I'll be able to pet my computer sometime this summer :)

wow, those things are a bane to society.

My mom bought one in a yard sale a long time ago, and I hid it in the attic so she couldnt find it.
