Introduction
The H20-APEX "Extreme duty" liquid cooling kit has been designed from the ground up to take full advantage of the new STORM waterblock. It is the first kit in the industry to offer truly extreme dual use: maximum performance and minimum noise in the same package.

As water cooling kits go, they are very well priced at $260, haven't seen any at any E-tailers yet though. Might take a week or so for them to show up.

Just a little heads up on the Swiftech APEX water cooling kit. Jab-Tech now has the kits in stock for a low low price of $249.95. From looking around, they are the only ones that have the kit in stock right now.

That's tight, but I am paranoid of liquid cooling. One of my neighbors (who is even more a PC nut than me) fried his mobo with H2O...

I've been doing water for a while now and have had a bunch of different sets installed and all without a single leak. you just have to be extremely careful installing the system and use high quality parts.........

I just ordered this one...it has the new apogee block. My opty runs a little warm.

I was going to get the Apex dual fan one but I didn't want to have to cut holes in my case and it would have blocked my PCI-E slots (on the outside).

You can't go wrong there!!!
That comes with a SUPER pump!!!! I have a MCP350 12 VDC Pump, they are tiny, but very powerfull!!! (If you can.. get 2x MCP350 Pumps and run in series.....you can always get a second one later......also if you can upgrade to a dual radiator, it will allow you to h2o cool the GFX and chipset

H2O cooling doesn't have to be expensive! LOL
NORMALLY you get what you pay for though.. Swiftec make some very nice water cooling!

Asetek make some nice easy to install "starter" kits...infact the antarctica kit is just as good as any other....I started out with a Asetek Waterchill kit...single 120mm rad, waterblock, reservoir and pump.....All I have left is the reservoir.....the rest is in a friends pc.....

There are ALOT of kits, alot of them are bad too....they only cool aswell as standard air cooling, or as good as high-end air, but you have to run the fan @ very high speed to get performance.

Go with brand name....as always and you can't go wrong!

yeah you're right, you do get what you pay for. of course the high-end Exos2 system was my reference point, which is why I asked the question, lol. it's pricy, but come now, 750W of thermal dissipation?!?!? that's worth every penny IMO, but good ol swifty looks like a decent kit as well, as least as a starter

Me thinks 750W is a marketting gimmick!!! "mayby" it has enough cooling power for that, but only with 2x 120mm fans running @ full speed......that would be way too noisy!!!

the Exos2 is a very nice package, gold plated waterblocks, all contacined in a nice box which can fit ontop of the pc.....I suspect most of the money is for the package and not for the things that matter......

Alot of people build their own kits, It can also be done cheaply.....you can buy a heater core from a car, get the pump from a garden supplies sotre or aquarium...the waterblocks are the only thing you really need to buy, unless you have a CNC machine out-back lol

The Swifty kit will beat the crap out of a Koolannce kit. Even the small Swifty kits'have better pumps and better overall flow.
You can't beat Koolance for ease of use though, but Koolance is way over priced IMHO............

Actually, since I put the NV silencer on my card temps never get above 60c and my case temps have come down some as well since it vents to the outside of the case. I'm thinking my case temps will come down more when WC'ing the CPU as they hot air will no longer be vented in the case.

Your case temps WILL come down alot....but be carefull as the components near the cpu will get hotter.....
Since your using the Lanparty board, you shouldn't have to worry too much.
The mosfets (voltage regulators) on the DFI board are spec'd to run @ upto 105C instead of the normal ~80C --> keep an eye on temps as always!

(I try to keep my PWM IC's below ~70C under HEAVY load! -> averages around ~50C)

Just mount a low speed fan up in that area like the Bio made and you won't have a thing to worry about. I made one for my system last night ans my PWMIC temp stays well below 40c...........
