Wheres a high end cooler reviews comparing a Vapochill Micro

Post by lioninstreet »

With all the build up for the Vapochill Micro over summer, now that the thing is finally out, where are the quality comparison reviews on it. All Ive found are marketing reviews and what is on their web site. Anyone know anything other than rumor or what some guy said?

The cooling performance is ok for the Ultra low noise version and the noise level isn't to bad at 12v. The Etreme version cools somewhat better but the noise level will make you go deaf........................

The overall performance level is right in line with most other heatpipe coolers there today.................. 8)

With a mild OC (240x10 @ 1.575v)on my whinnie system the TT Golden Orb II does about the same performance wise, and after several reinstalls, the Orb might do better by 1c but it's real close.

My review of the Vapochill Micro will be coming up next week. I just got in the kit, along with the full range of fans for it. Everything I've seen and read shows it to be an outstanding product.

I can tell you right now that the Thermalright SI-120 is awesome! My idle temps are steady at 28c. I'm still monkeying with my set up but tomorrow I will probably install FEAR and give it a good run.

I should have a review out on the Vapochill Micro against 2 other low noise coolers shortly in a hard cover mag.............not totally sure what month yet though.
The cooler does ok, but it's not the top air cooler out there, but for it's size and weight, it does a OK job.

If you didnt play the SP demo, make sur eyou play it in a dark room with surround sound on. Seriously one of teh best FPS games i have played. Good graphics, excellent AI.

Ill be looking forward to the vaporchill review aswell.
