inside my antec p180 case will the "ultra quiet" really be worth the extra few dollars?

I'd say the P180 would be able to muffle the regular one just fine. Are the fans the same CFM?
Plus I think the copper one would work better at cooling.

I have the standard one (copper color) with it on the low setting I don't hear it, My PSU fan is louder. now with it cranked all the way up I can start to notice it if I put my head down my case and that is in my little mATX case, your case I don't think you would hear much of anything.

I have the 9700LED and at low rpm its barely audible!
I just noticed something, the 9700NT has the Nvidia logo on the fan!
Does Nvidia own Zalman???

nah, but apparently "At first glance, this box's packaging reminds me of a jet engine, which is a good thing. Why so green though? Apparently NVIDIA blessed it ;)"

i'm thinking i'm going to save some money and go with the cheaper of the two, i dont think i'm going to notice the fan noise at all with the 9700 LED

unless you want the green fan light, I would go with the cheaper one (it has a blue fan light)
did anyone else notice in the review link above for the NT version; that at the end when he linked to pricing he linked to the LED version not the NT.
