ASUS Triton 77, 15°C cooler CPU's
Asus has announced a new member in its Triton CPU coolers series, the Triton 77. The new Triton 77 features so called "up-way" air-flow design, five copper heat pipes and dynamic fan speed control.
According to the ASUS press release this new design should provide 15 per cent cooling improvement, and it also should improve VRM (Voltage regulation modules) cooling. The new Triton supports all the latest AMD and Intel CPU's, and it features a PWM function for automatic fan speeds. Asus has uses specially designed push pins and clips so that installation should be very easy since there is no need for motherboard removal.
The Triton 77 uses 92mm fan with Vapo bearing which spins at 2,300 rpm's and creates 18dBA of noise. Entire cooler weighs 505g with 90 x 78 x 125 mm dimensions. As mentioned before it uses five copper heat pipes, copper base and aluminum fins.
