SpeedFan / D975XBX / +2.5 V

Post by teeveetech24 »

I just installed SpeedFan and I was checking out everything. One thing that caught me by surprise was the reading on the 2.5V - it says its 1.47V! I've read some threads where it discusses the proper range for these readings and this definitely does not fall within that range. The readings are as such ...

+2.5V: 1.47V
Vcore : 1.17V
3.3V : 3.29V
5V : 5.04V
12V : 12.06V

All of these other values seems to be within range. Is this a big problem for me? What's up with this? Thanks!

Well, at least for me, speedfan is prone to showing wrong voltages! Some correct some wrong, but generally i just dont trust it there
(yup 12V is -16V for my speedfan... but memory V seems correct on my system)

The only voltage readings you should trust are ones you have taken with a multi meter from inside the case :P
