This maybe dumb but with PCs you never know....Will a regular tower case fit a Mico ATX MOBO.

Yes it will, do you know what the case model is? Micro Atx is the smallest modern board I know about, should fit any tower. Most will accept at least an ATX board unless it's a mini tower.

yes it will but, obviously a micro atx case won't fit an atx board.

There are actually a lot smaller boards out there too, like DTX and ITX. They'll blow your mind with how tiny they are.

ITX are rediculous, are there even cases designed for those boards?

yup, most are for cars and such. Most folks will make a case for them. I've seen it done with every thing from a kids lunch box to a cigar box.
Pico ITX is the smallest I know about, they are 10cm x 7.2cm.

I want to head the direction of Micro ATX and then maybe HTPC but a new case is not in the budget yet so I wanted to make sure I could still use my new stuff ( when I get the $$) before I have the case.

I've seen those boards, never considered one for a tower, never considered one at all, would make me feel like I was running a calculator. Carry that into a lan party and see how many mines bigger than yours jokes you get lol.

Do these tiny boards even have accessories to fit them...vid card , ram etc.??

Literally most of them can only be upgraded with the RAM, they take laptop memory IIRC.
Some of them have daughter boards to add extra connectivity, like USB/Sound etc.

Most ITX are designed with mobile entertainment centers for cars in mind. Not something your going game with.
I've been kicking the idea around to use one for a NAS project, but I just can't get pasted the price of them.

Looks like they are very limited in what they can do. I do like the gameboy pico in the review you posted bubba.
