Looks like an interesting idea, hopefully they will have enough power to dissipate the heat from the Q6600.
Dan
Actually going to use that tecs in my case as a water cooler, just more tests to be sure... i have also some pair of 200-300 watts of tecs but not easy to handle
DMB2000uk wrote:Its in the picture, but I can't make out quite what it is, but what are you using to cool the tec's?
Dan
It's a part of industrial alu profile for coolers. I will post lots of pics when the job is finished... (soon!)
Both sides are closed with two pieces of thin glass to make a wind tunnel (and light effect!)
Dimensions are millimeters...

Are there people out there that don't know the metric system?
Dan
Already erased my mistake, it was just a copy/paste matter! I have friends from USA and some other places... so have to mention that i use metric. i also know, we all have a good idea about metric, peepz
DMB2000uk wrote:Be interesting to see how much heat the TEC's dump into the case.

Oh no, cooler dumps heat directly out of case with a max 105 CFM/2400 RPM Akasa Fan (silently controlling with a Zalman ZM MFC2) from the back side cover. So it seems to be cool...
Have you got any way to measure the water temperature after it has been in the TEC 'radiator'?
Also, I trust coretemp more than the uGuru for accurate temperatures.
And I'd be happy to talk overclocking with you ^_^
Hit up a new thread or drop me a PM.

Looks really nice.

Yup, TEC Cooler block is about 45 degrees celcius and water is about 24-26 degrees celcius. Yeah i prefer coretemp too... It's much more consistent...
Let's talk about oc'ing abit aw9d max some time...
