12V 20 A PSU for TECs
2 x 60 Watt TECs
Thermal Test Load: 60 Watt Soldering Iron
Peltier Cooler+120 mm Akasa 2400 RPM/105 CFM

T1: Alu Water Block (works as a radiator) Celcius
T2: TEC's Thermal Output Celcius
t: Time as minutes

Thermal Results:

Alu block works as a water radiator:

Termal load (60 W soldering iron) for test:

Unloaded have i seen extremely low temperatures (-12,6 celcius deg.):

I'm gonna use that system instead of water cooling radiator:

So you are going to replace a radiator with these TEC's?

Looks like an interesting idea, hopefully they will have enough power to dissipate the heat from the Q6600.

Actually going to use that tecs in my case as a water cooler, just more tests to be sure... i have also some pair of 200-300 watts of tecs but not easy to handle :snakeman:

Its in the picture, but I can't make out quite what it is, but what are you using to cool the tec's?

It's a part of industrial alu profile for coolers. I will post lots of pics when the job is finished... (soon!)
Both sides are closed with two pieces of thin glass to make a wind tunnel (and light effect!)
Dimensions are millimeters...

Are there people out there that don't know the metric system?

Be interesting to see how much heat the TEC's dump into the case.

Oh no, cooler dumps heat directly out of case with a max 105 CFM/2400 RPM Akasa Fan (silently controlling with a Zalman ZM MFC2) from the back side cover. So it seems to be cool...

Showed me up for assuming that because it was at the front of the case it would be an intake fan didn't you :P

Looks like you've got all bases covered. I'll leave it in your capable hands.

Ah no, at the reverse side and works as a warm exhaust fan. It's because of the picture, sorray...

Oh no you didnt! (Sandles and socks!) :finga:

Looks really nice.

Have you got any way to measure the water temperature after it has been in the TEC 'radiator'?
Also, I trust coretemp more than the uGuru for accurate temperatures.

And I'd be happy to talk overclocking with you ^_^
Hit up a new thread or drop me a PM.

Yup, TEC Cooler block is about 45 degrees celcius and water is about 24-26 degrees celcius. Yeah i prefer coretemp too... It's much more consistent...

Let's talk about oc'ing abit aw9d max some time...

That's a great board I still got mine in the box, but haven't used it in forever.

Hard to believe that it came out in Sept 2006...

heh, I never did get around to trying to beat your FSB clock 8-)
I'm blaming that on having a crappy E6600 >_>

I still think that picture of serbu in the box is the best one you've shown us.
