When you get it post up the UL code so we can see who makes it.

As long as you aren't trying to get anywhere near 480W out of that PSU then you will be fine with it. :P

I don't recommend this for computers that are new and worth lots though :P

I preach to people all the time about cheap power supplies, but with your usage it will probably last for quite a while.

Folding IDE cables to hide them is a lost art form.

OMG, I've seen better put together electronics from our EE Majors. That powersupply is gonna blow the first time you put a load on it

yeah it probably is. just for the hell of it, i tried running it unloaded(<--dont do that) to check the voltages, and it actually didnt blow! i was getting like 12.25 volts on the 12v rail, but since it was unloaded im not suprised. i could probably put a better one together myself, but it be a bitch tracking down all the caps and makin the circut board. i dont think im gonna fold this thing if i want it to last more than a month. But the one thing that really bothered me about this powersupply, is the guage of the wire. they are about as thin as paper clips!
@buba: Yes it is, but not in my house. the only SATA computer we have is mine. so i get lots of practice.

so does the PSU have that quality "feel" when you pick it up? You know the one... you lift the product and immediately think "Man, this is good stuff" and roll your eyes.
