Post by martini161 »

Mice! Mice can get pretty sweating during LAN sessions in cramped rooms...

Ok, that wouldnt really work, that would make for a spikey mouse.

Yup, mainly because it sits inside a hutch and it gets a little warm due to bad air flow..................

All I did was take a old 9 volt DC power adapter from a dead home cordless phone, solder on a 3 pin fan header, mount the fan on the hutch behind the display by the vent holes and plug in the fan. This get a nice quiet 1200 rpm 120mm fan running on 9 volts, just enough to keep the air flowing...................

That's a good idea Bio, I got the hutch thing going on in a corner unit, sets right by the thermostat, have to hook up a spare fan and see if that makes a difference.
