I didn't even know Cathar was producing blocks again....good to know, his stuff is top notch. To be really honest, you can't go wrong with either block, both are great water block manufacturers...i honestly doubt you would see much, if any difference between the two.

I'm not sure if he was or wasn't just heard those were the two best. Guess I"ll go with the PolarFlo since its very easy to get.

bah the polarflo is all about bling (peformance is about the same as a maze4), you would be far better off getting a mcw6002 (1/2") or mcw6000 (3/8") for about $40 which would definetely outpeform it. i know some people at procooling have questioned their anodizing quality as well (even with that it will still corrode). if you dont want to wait for cathar's http://www.procooling.com/html/pro_testing.php can help you decide what one works best with your flow rate

I hate to dig up a old thread, but I just had to start something. Ive been running the PolarFlo blocks for some time now with no problems (both the original and TT blocks, I have both types). I also have the Swiftech MCW 6002 and I've gotten better temps with the PolarFlo block in either the 2 or 3 barb configuration.................. I don't have a lot of faith in charts and formulas and all that other crap, real world is what I'm talking about.

And now to the main reason for this post............ 8) PolarFlo has released they new water blocks using a Acrylic Top for all of you that were worried about using aluminum in your systems.
