In looking at a couple reviews of the cooler it looks like a knock off of the Noctua NH-U12P tower cooler, all the way down to the mounting hardware and packing. Trying to find a price on this... hmmm :-k

Yes, it will fit in the 900 BUT your board's heatsinks may give you grief with the cooler mounted pointing to the back. You may have to turn it so it points up. This shouldn't be an issue with the 200mm fan on the top of the 900.

***EDIT***

Found the price on this thing in the states, its $50 plus shipping. If it were me and I'm spending that much on a cooler I would drop the extra $10-15 and get the Noctua cooler, you won't be disappointed.

so your saying i shouldnt have an issue with the noctua cooler? not to sure what you mean by turning it so it points up.
the extra £10 (Im from UK) isnt an issue as my oringal build pricelist started off at £700 and now its over £900 another £10 wont kill me.

I wondered about the similarities too and found this over at spcr:
SPCR wrote:A closer inspection revealed that the two different brands were, in fact, identical. Even the retail boxes were similar in size and shape, though the individual logos were different of course. Further digging on Noctua's web site uncovered the reason for the multiple identities: The Noctua is the result of a collaboration between the Austrian distributor Rascom and Taiwanese heatsink OEM Kolink (note the phonetic similarity of "Kolink" and "Coolink"... and "Cooling").

nukeman8, welcome from another UK member ^_^

I too would recommend the Noctua over the Coolink. The NH-U12P has been updated and tweaked since the Coolink version, so has better mounting compatibility and even more performance.

Bubba meant that because of the tall heatsinks on the very top of your motherboard (and on the northbridge (middle of the board)), they may stop you from mounting the cooler top to bottom [ | ] and might mean you have to install it left to right [ -- ].

Dan thanks for clarifying for me.

As for mounting issues, you shouldn't, but if you do have to turn it, it shouldn't cause any cooling issues due to the 200mm fan in the top of the 900.
