ATI 4870 In An Antec 900 Case??

Anybody tired this yet?
I’ve been thinking about upgrading my video card to an ATI 4870 but I'm not sure if it will fit in my case (Antec 900). I know my 8800GTS 640mb was pretty close so I'd hate to order the card and find out it won’t fit.

It should be fine. I have a 900 also and can fit a 8800GTX as long as I don't have a hard drive at the end of it. I believe the 4870 is a little shorter than the 8800GTX/9800GTX.

I know you can fit an 8800GTX with the rear fan housing/fan in place, but you have to pull the cages to the front edge of the bezel. Without the fan housing, I'd say nearly anything will fit in there.

Thanks foiks. I've got two HD"s but I spaced them apart to allow extra air flow between them so I may be ok. Anybody know the measurement of the 4870 card or should I post this question in the ATI forum?

Can't tell you the exact size, but I would guess that it is going to be about the same size as an 8800 geforce, they are 10.5 inches... you have to account for a little bit more because of the 6-pin connectors on the ends.
