My new rig is gonna have GTX 260 in it, and on the website the minimum is 500 watts (w/ 38 amps). Will 550 watts (w/ 44 amps) be bottlenecking it though, since i will be doing overclocking? here are the other hardware included.
E8500, probably overclocked to 4.0GHz
750i mobo
500GB 7200 rpm HD
4Gb(2 x 2GB) DDR2 800
DVD burner

I think you should be ok with that much power, under load the whole LR test system with a 260GTX in it pulls under 325W, and that has a few more things running than you had.

Alright cool, I just didnt want to spend more than $70 on a powers supply, because that's already a lot

no, actually its not. 70 is barely enough to spend on a quality power supply for even mainstream systems

Hombre, you should consider yourself lucky in that, but don't risk it.

yea here's the one I'm planning on getting-

It's actually 600 watts, so it should be plenty, I just don't know firsthand what the quality of the Rosewill stallion series is. One way to find out I guess.

I know 2 people who have tried Rosewill PSU's(not the Stallion series) and neither will ever buy another!
One failed the other is light on voltage, barely acceptable!

Not really. For mainstream PC's (as in those who are unlikely to ever visit LegitReviews

), a $50 Seasonic 300W 80+ efficiency power supply is more than enough. Most budget/mainstream OEM systems only ship with 200~300W PSU's. For most people, it's actually a waste to go with higher rated PSU's.

Nuh-uh. That's not how it works. 12V * 69A = 828W so you already know for sure that the combined amperage on the 12V rails is lower than 69A. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the information on Antec's website, but I reckon amperage's probably closer to 50A than 70A.
