Hi i Just bought this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814150334
Now i need a power supply, i was thinking of buying this one
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817371015
Will the antec Ea650 be a good powersupply for the gtx 285. One of the requirements of the video card was "with a 12V current rating of 46A"
Does this power supply have that, a current rating of 46a??? Will it run it, if it doesn't have current rating of 46a, any power supplys that you would recommend instead??
Any help will be very appreciated. O_o

Re: Need help choosing Power Supply for GTX 285
Seems like it should be ok..I'm not a fan of multiple railed power supplies. I would go for a Corsair power supply. A little more money yes, but will do the job..I ran a Corsair tx-750 with 2 gtx285's and it ran perfectly still before I upgraded to a 1000 watts. So even a TX-650 should power 1 GTX285 just fine. Like said, its a bit more money but you do NOT want to be skimpy on a power supply
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817139005 is a darn good one. more expensive, but will work. Has 1 rail with 50 amps on it so you know you'll be ok..the 750 watt one is only $10 more with 60 amps I think
