PSU Questions???

I think i might have jacked up my PSU. its no big deal bought it off a friend for like $50 2 years ago. prob need to upgrade anyway. i was wandering about Energy-Efficient rateings and what to look for. what are good reliable brands and should i go modular? thanks

Modular is up to you, it makes your case look cleaner. Nowadays, look for at least 80% efficient. OCZ, Corsair, Antec are all good brands

GET A MODULAR!! I can not believe I saved $20 to have my case look awful. lol, Even if you do not have a clear side panel for airflow the modular is better, I have so many wires tucked I can't get the back side of my case closed without a lil force.

has anyone ever heard of kingwin for PSU? are they a good supply. the connections look like they might be better on there modular units.

It seems like Kingwin builds for a popular line but I'm not sure about that. Since you're in Japan name some common PSU manufacturers that are available to you and we'll say yes or no.

I am back in the states now. i ended up getting an antec true power quattro 850 atx modular psu.
