WC advice for a LanBox Lite

So I built a new system a while back. I put a ton of crap into a tiny case and am fighting heat. While I could put the guts into a bigger case at this point it would be more of a moral victory to get some cooling into it.

One of the components is an EVGA 460 GTX

The case is a Thermaltake LanBox Lite

I have the AMD Phenom quad core from the folding contest last year in there. I had a helluva time finding a cooler that would 1) fit and 2) cool. Anytime I put it under load the temps go nuts - hence no folding from this thing and the feeling of shame for not contributing. I've been considering water cooling the CPU and the GPU but haven't been able to come up with a good design considering my major space limitations.

Just for reference the remaining components are:
MB - MSI 890GXM-G65
HD - Samsung Spinpoint F3 500GB
RAM - GSkill Rip Jaws 8GB (4 x 2GB)
PSU - Corsair 850HX
HSF - Scythe SCSK-1100

So with all of that listed out I am even more sure that it should be in a bigger case. Yet I will press on!

Okay, so for increased airflow I thought I'd rip out the Plexiglas side panels and replace with something like this: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/ ... ts_id=3398

If I were just cooling the CPU or just the GPU then I might go with a single 120mm RAD, but what about going with 2 120mm RADs and do both? I'll have to take some of it apart and throw up some pics with my ideas, but I think I can put a 120mm RAD on each side of the case and have each one pulling out. With the mesh sides I should get enough airflow to do what I need. Thoughts?

So in no particular order the loop would be CPU-GPU-Rad1-Rad2 and the pump thrown somewhere in the middle of all that. On top of that I'm not sure what WC cooler setup to use with the 460.

Any thoughts are appreciated. This will probably drag on for a while since funding is semi-low at the moment.

Take a look through this thread http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/sho ... p?t=254494 there is a couple SSF rigs in there. Some I'm still scratching my head on how they crammed it in the case.

Order dont mean a whole lot with how efficient some parts are cooling now. The best way would pick a rad and make up a template with foamcore poster board and start playing. Dont cut till your happy.

Thanks for that link, Bubba. And I agree, lots of head scratching on how some of that stuff fits. The wife just gave the okay to move that box into the living room. I may see what temps are like there before doing anything radical. At the very least I want to replace the plexi. I may do that for now and just hold off on the WC. I'm in no rush anyway.
