The EK looks a decent bit better, visually as well as performance-wise

the issue with EK is that they are restrictive, not very good if you plan on running them in series with with another video card block, or with a CPU block. DD blocks are more geared for flow rate, which is great if you do plan on running them in series. Now if you plan on running the vids in parallel with one another, or parallel with the CPU then you are giving a bit more flexibility on the blocks. Which I figured out how to do it, (parallel'n the vids to the CPU) just not sure if I want to do for an little article.
