Didn't he do it for a school project? Maybe?
He said he went to Stanford.

I'm still reading it and am speechless
I gathered, he is doing it for himself, for his own amusement. just curiosity - how far he can push the limit. this is the attitude that was pushing technology forward in the past. except this guy doesn't have government $ and a science team to help him.

thanks. the other thing is this guy is really dedicated- have to respect that. he lost his place, has no job and lost his girlfriend over this project and still goes on. the other thing is - contrary to other nitrogen bath, aquarium immersed extreme mods - this rig is actually working, has a case and has a practical long time use not just a one time OC attempt. I hope he can finnish it. will be watching too.

Poor guy has no life, too much money, and might ruin his computer at those low temps. I don't understand why he was unhappy with Phase Cooling.

It's a bit oif a let down now... he's not going to finish it!
Looks like he got "sponsorship" now to make an even bigger and better one now, which will cool the motherboard too.......
It may be a while!

That thing must weigh as much as my oil tank downstairs. Reminds me of that liquid nitrogen cooling I saw on nordichardware:

Northwood core, or Prescott? Already know the Northwoods are legendary for those speeds, but I dunno much about Prescott concerning that.
