I'm going to replce the stock case fan in my case with 2 LED 80mm fans (I'm going to replace the CPU air duct, which accounts for the second fan).

Here's my case:


What color LEDs in the fans would look the best with my case? I can't decide... Keep in mind that since I don't have a side window, the light will just be coming through the holes, so it won't show up very well, except in low-light conditions.

I vote red - it should shine through a bit better i would think. Multi-color I dont think looks good at all, but that is my opinion.

LOL, on every forum I've posted that pic, somebody's mentioned the table leg! Don't worry, it's a thick metal vent. They're practically impossible to break. Thanks for your concern, though.

I did a green and orange case a couple years ago for Quakecon and loved it. No one back then was into green and orange. Red and Blue was all the rage. It turned heads and still does today. I used Green on the inside and on the front 80MM fans I used orange LED fans. It was orange from the front with green cold cathod tubes on the motherboard section. I liked it.

imo you should choose the color you like the best, not the ones we like. after all, it is your case...

anyhow, I think that white leds will look awesome inside a black case

I like all of them (the colors), so this is a way for me to decide.

I voted blue because your mouse is blue... but I think red would look very cool as well.

Orange has tured into my favorite lite color lately.............. To bad I don't have the money to change out all the fans and CCL in my computer. I'd run me around a $100 to switch over...............

After I'd submitted the poll, I realized I hadn't put Orange on list. (I also forgot "Other") Sorry.

I am voting Red because its one of the more common colors and looks damn good.

Personlay im with bio, Orange is my prefered color, i also love white and green when done right. But Red woudl be my first choice in you situation.

i went wiht blue because of you mouse color...but then again what do i know, im color blind...

Don't know about you, but I've always found bright focused light sources to be irritating in low light conditions.

I even coated my speaker's indicator LEDs with elmer glue to dull the glare.

Thought about just using plain black fans?

If you must though, I'm casting a vote for blue.
