MicroATX cube cases

Post by The Black Pumpkin »

I've been thinking about getting a cubey of some sort for the stuff it's best at: lan parties. :)

Anyway, I like the Aspire X-Qpack, but that's a little too expensive right now. Does anyone know of some other good ones?

Best bang for buck would be the qpack, least thats what my research has led me to. It uses a standard PSU witch is a plus if yours craps out.

If you go micro for a case. I have been eyeing up the COOLER MASTER Centurion 541 mini tower haven't got one but its on the list of stuff to get.

Indeed, that one does look nice. If I don't get a cube, I might get one myself for my mom.

I wish Newegg's category search would bring those things up better. I've found several things I didn't think they sold just by using a site search (like the Qpack).

You know, as an unrelated thing, Qpack is a really strange name.

The PSU that comes with the qpack is pretty much junk, I just replaced the one in my wifes rig. Standard PSU can be a bit of a pain to fit in due to limited space (the Qpack is a special shorter PSU). A standard PSU will fit, but it's tight and modular cables would almost be a must because there's no real palce to stick unused power leads.
