Figure Out Who Made Your Power Supply - List Your Model!
Re: Figure Out Who Made Your Power Supply - List Your Model!
My dell 305W could handle a 7600GT just fine. I even added a dual core AMD Athlon, and an extra gig of ram. No extra power needed.

a guy i know in south Dakota just went to a 8800GT 512 from an ATI x300 and is running it off his Dell proprietary 305Watter with a 3.2 Ghz P4 and a bunch of addons, Dells are easier to upgrade than people thinkvicaphit wrote:My dell 305W could handle a 7600GT just fine. That's a pretty decent quality power supply; PC Power & Cooling is now a part of OCZ Technology now, and their PSU's are also not too bad.kate202 wrote:My power supply is made by:

It is a PC Power and Cooling Silencer470 with UL# E131500!
From the UL number that you provided, it's either the OEM DELL version or the normal ATX one. Either one, they are pretty solid.
