Damaged SATA Cable

If you bought a power supply and saw this when you took it out of the box what would you do?

Keep in mind this is a $298 Silverstone ST85ZF 850 Watt power supply.

Return it!!!!

Even if it still works, explosed cable may cause bad "static" on the rails and cause probs (esp. with SATA drives)

Imagine you are using your trusty DMM in a month or two and accidently touch that cable with the probe.........dead hdd!

Depends how desperate i was for a power supply, take now for instance, I'd be tempted to keep it, but at that price I'd want a replacement definately.

The wire it's self doesn't look to be damaged, looks to be just the insulation. I'd just heat shrink it and use it after testing the resistance, but it should be fine.

send that thing back! get a new one. i dont care if it works perfectly well. not worth the risk.
