My Tygon has gotten pretty cloudy as usual. I guess the AntiFreeze doesn't really work. Anyone have any suggestions as to what additives I could use. Color and whatnot doesn't matter, I just want something that is gonna keep my tubes clear. This is sad, coolings only been up for 4 months.

It'll all get dis-colored over time, the softer the tubing, the more it absorbs. I have yet to find any mixture or tubing that won't dis-color/stain. It has to do with liquid permeation through the tubing. Some additives will stain the tubing more than others, but it will happen............

so Bio what do you recommend that will discolor the tubes the least? And does the discoloration effect performance?

I just use distilled water and anti-freeze, only like 5% (no aluminum). the discoloration won't hurt performance at all unless a build-up starts inside the tubing. That's when you have stuff starting to grow inside your loop.

I take my loop apart every so often and clean everything with white viniger and clean the tubing with warm soap and water using a coat hanger or rifle cleaning kit...........
I know a lot of people that just replace the tubing when it gets dis-colored, but I'm a cheap old fart and clean mine, it's easier cause it's already cut to the correct length.
