New unseen prototype water block

Post by Apoptosis »

Today after IDF I went to Fremont to meet with various hardware companies. One of these companies one had an interesting new water block on the test bench. Many enthusiast users are turning to water cooling now that prices are coming down and it is less extreme these days.

Enough of the small talk let's look at the new block. Remember that this is the first generation block.

As you can tell this is a new design and the test results are being kept a secret. They hinted to me that it performs about 10% better than not using a heat sink at all. :supz:

Well all i can say is if it has a copper or alumininum base and is well sealed it might even work.
