Corsair Natutilus 500 mod help

Hello

I was wondering if I could get a little help. I have made the "improvements" to my unit as suggested a few post back (but using the Black Ice Pro radiator)and it works great except for 2 things and that is what I need help with.

1. I managed to damage the barb on the water pump (did it to one of the quick connects as well but that is an easier fix) so now I have a leak. I have sealed it with silicone but I know it won't hold forever so I was wondering if anyone knew of a fitting that I could just remove the entire barb and replace it with? Another idea was to heat the tubing a little to soften it up to better seal the damage (btw I think the damage occurred when I removed the old tubing. I cut the tubing off short then split the remainder with a knife. I think the knife blade put a nick in the barb.)

2. I want to modify the pass through plate (the one for the power and tubes to exit the case) so that it has a fitting that the tubing can connect to. That way if I need to detach the unit I don't have the tubes hanging off my computer and if I change cases I don't have to worry about the length of the tubing going back to the CPU as that will be consistent. I would just have to change the tubing from the plate to the external unit.

Any help, ideas, websites or even if people want to tell me how stupid I am (been doing that alot anyway) would be appreciated. Maybe by the time I hear back from Corsair Tech support on the mounting parts I need to put this on my Core 2 Due I will have a better idea of what I want to do to fix and make the original unit better.

Thanks

You pay for the shipping and I'll send you a new top, you can thank fourm member Stev as well.

Go to USPlastic.com or Mcmaster.com and do a search for quick disconnect fittings, they both carry a full selection from Colder fittings.
