More evidence for AMD's lawsuit against Intel

Post by wuzy »

Many Skype 2.0 users including myself complained about limiting AMD systems to only 5-way call while systems with Intel can have up to 10-way call.[EDITED]

Now AMD has finally put their sorry little arse on the line. :axe:

Why would Skype do this? They could get more customers by allowing 10-way calls for both CPU's, and I doubt intel gave them that much of an incentive....if they did @ all....

Obviously Intel has given this rather small-ish company some sort of benefit.
The prove to this would be rather challeging, but at least it making people aware of this issue with Intel's monopolization and bring AMD-Skype users some peace.

yep....

Skype will forced to either prove AMD's chips can't do 10-way calls or else release a patch to support AMD's CPU(ID).
