AMD drops prices for 939 CPUs and rebates on AM2

The AMD64 Venice 939 CPU's are baically half price over the day they rolled out.

It makes you wonder about the price of the 754 line.
It's bargin time! Basement deals are available.

this is awsome news for people stuck on lower end CPU's looking to upgrade their existing 939 board!! The best will be over the next few mths as prices even on dualcore drop to match conroe.

Wow the price war is ON! If X2 prices really drop 50% thats huge and will make AMD at least an option when conroe comes out.

Nice, looks like a new processor/MB might be in order.
To bad I bought the Nvidia 6800 in AGP....what a stupid mistake that was.

Hey, T-H on Monday had an article that stated, "AGP is still alive!"
I believe that a few of the AM2 Mobo's still have AGP available. Just keep searching NewEgg and the others.

Hmm...my 939 board isn't looking like too bad of investment after all. Might upgrade my San Diego chip earlier than I expected....
