Gates Leaving MS
What do you guys think about his move? Good? Bad? I personally wish hiim luck on his non-profit efforts. The Gates Foundation is the largest non-profit of its kind in the world.

he may not be doing the day to day anymore, but I'm sure that he will never leave completely.

Yeah im sure he will do the Emporer thing and just sit in his big tower on the Death Star. Figurativley speaking of course

Nope, he's been there the whole time.
He had to go sometime. The 2 year transition is good for the company and the stock.

Well the stock doesn't appear to be going up much yet:

Don't know if some of the bad connotations that Microsoft has gathered under Gates will be so easily forgotten just because he's left, but who knows. Stocks are all about perceptions after all, right?
