Asus + gigabyte = ....
Well what Can I say, I was quite shocked when I heard this, I just hope that gigabyte will have features like asus and not the other way around.

ALWAYS had problems with Asus boards.

Knightrid: Can't believe you had problems with asus motherboards. I can't say for all asus motherboards, but me and my friends that had or currently have any asus motherboards, haven't encountered any problems. Especially based on intel chipsets. But hey who knows... every company has produced a bad series of it's products.
As far as it goes for a new name, since asus acquired gigabyte, luckily it can't be something rude like Giga-As
