Dec 2009 Contest - Design Your Own HIS 5870 Video Card Art!

Here is what I went with. Not sure if its up to the same level as some of the other photoshop work on here, but it was my first time coloring with a tablet in PS. I'm happy with it
the JPEG version, with jacked up color, below is the same design, just now the colors look like I see them in PS.


EDIT: looking at it after I uploaded it, looks darker then in photoshop... hmmm... I'll re-save it in the morning. Too tired to screw with it now
Edit2: resaved the art work into a PNG file, color is right now. For some reason the JPEG was coming out too dark in the browser.

You have to have an account with a photo hosting site like Flickr or Photobucket (among others) and then link to it in a post on this thread.

@ Bubba - Nice job. Kinda sorry to see you didn't go with the pin-up idea though.

Looks cool. If you want the HIS logo in as part of your design, you'll probably want to place it somewhere else though. From the looks of things, it's outside of the area specified for printing.

Took the majority of the entries (~30 of them) and placed them into an article to promote this event that can be seen here - http://legitreviews.com/article/1191/1/

I figured this would be an easier way to look at all of them in one pace for fun. As for copyright issues, those entries will be disqualified if they are found to be using protected artwork and are chosen as winners. As for the direction of the artwork... You can design your sticker any way you like, but keep in mind how it plugs into the motherboard in your system if you want to be able to read the card while it is plugged in.

Edited my submission post with a PNG version of my submission, the JPEG wasn't looking right color wise.
