look a few posts above yours.......

that's no longer the point anyways, the point is what Nate was trying to explain: this doesn't look good on him when he sets contests up like this and someone wins the stuff, only to sell it later (manufacturer heads have a lot of tabs on Nate I'm sure, so they know what goes on)

one has to watch what he/she does sometimes, definitely

It's not that it makes Apop look bad so much...it's that we are a comunity here and it goes against the spirit of the contests and LRForums in general.....

I personally think out of respect and courtesy winners should stick around, use the swag to fold for LR (@least for a while) and post pics.....It's just good manners! -> If you don't need the swag, don't enter...then there's better odds for your fellow members who may actually need the swag!

I didn't mean that as the central point, and actually you are right, everything definitely needs to get into the hands of deserving, dedicated people who need it......I was just saying that there are underlying obligations, I am sure, and I'm also sure he doesn't want any blemishes to his name (the site I mean), that's all.

definitely....I know I wouldn't have minded a Pentium D and a decent mobo myself, although I already have some AMD hardware....congrats to you guys who won, and I hope you put it to really good use

I've talked with ecs a few times this week and all is well. We ran our contest into Jan, so we got the info to them after the other 12 sites that were doing this and I'm not sure if Intel or ECS has the cpu's. you should have something by mid next week i bet.
