Most of you probably deserve it more, but once I build my own computer I might be able to use at least half of it's power!

So, do the lights dim in the room when you power it up? 8-[

No dimming, no problems powering it up. I think of it as 10x 100W bulbs all running from the same power cable.

Haven't checked the meter to see if it spins faster though.

The PSU doesn't use 1KW of (DC) power! It's just has the potential to use that much!
