May 2008 Forum Drawing - NZXT Tempest Computer Case!

Post by Apoptosis »

This month the guys over at NZXT have have offered to send their latest case to one of our lucky forum members. The NZXT Tempest is what we will be giving away today and it is a really nice looking case that gets a ton of airflow. It comes with six fans and is without a doubt the king of airflow when it comes to buying a case off the shelf. NZXT has also stepped up to the plate when it comes to shipping and is going to foot the bill for shipping, but only to North America. Many of our contests are open around the world, so our apologies that this one is not. This case comes in a massive box, so shipping internationally would be very pricey! Be sure to read our review on it here.

Online retailers are selling this case for $109.99 plus shipping, so this is your chance to win a $100+ kick ass prize for doing nothing more than being an active part of this community.

Here are the rules for this months contest. These are provided to help clear things up for those that enter and might win. This is a drawing type contest.

RULES:
1) This contest is open to active forum members with a valid shipping address in North America.
2) The winner will be shipped his/her prize as soon as possible (if being shipped internationally (Canada for example) it could take 4-8 weeks by USPS)
3) The winner must have 5 posts between now and May 15th, 2008 - DO NOT DIG UP "OLD" THREADS (i.e. > 1 MONTH) - these posts will not count and are subject to deletion.
4) Reply to this post to enter the contest and that does not count as one post!
5) Spamming (~5 pointless posts over one or two days will void your entry)
6) Depending on your location and how fast NZXT sends out the case determines when you will get it. That means it could take 4-8 weeks to reach you. Since we don't physically have the case we can't change shipping companies or tell you when it will exactly arrive or ship.
7) The contest ends May 15th, 2008 at midnight with the winner being drawn the following day, so NZXT can get the winner e-mailed to them on Friday.

I'm in too! My younger son needs a case to build his new machine up. This will fit the ticket well.

Hmm, I'll take one of those, thanks. I have an Antec 900 right now, but I've heard many people say they prefer this. I suppose I need to win before I can say one way or the other.

Count me in. Its always a folding team member that wins, but who knows, maybe this time it won't be. Just cuz I don't fold doesn't make me a bad person, its just a choice.

That's not true... If you go back all the years we've given out contest prizes and compare the list winners with the list of folders it shows differently. The folding team wins more often because they are active on the forums month after month and year after year. If you keep entering them the odds of winning something get better and better. We also have people in the forums that fold and have entered every contest for years and haven't won... luck of the draw my friend - after all this is a drawing.

Apparently the Air Flow through the NZXT Tempest beats the Antec Nine Hundred I just bought.
I'd definitely like to have a chance at comparing the two and see which is quieter!
