Well, that was fast.
Not the most exciting pics. Working from home today, and how lucky that the card happened to arrive! Between my conference calls (and other stuff) I was able to take a few shots and get her installed. Thanks again, LR

I know, I figured a few weeks - with two at the minimum. When FedEx showed up today I figured the wife had ordered something.vicaphit wrote:Well they are on the ball aren't they!

Re: July 2008 Forum Drawing - ATI Radeon HD 4850 Graphics Card
LOL, I almost ran a couple of benchmarks. Honestly I was trying to get this done between meetings and stuff, so I took the lazy route. I can tell you that I went from an XFX 7950 GT (512MB, passive cooling) card to this one. If I get motivated I'll run something, then throw the old card back in and compare - NOT A PROMISE!!!DX wrote:Now do you have any before and after numbers you can post for us?

Congrats on the new card. Thanks for the pics.
**Off Topic** Just noticed you are from the KC area. We should be having a LAN party up there in the next couple of weeks. PM me with some contact information and I'll check with the host about inviting you, if you are interested. It's pretty much laid back gaming with a trip down to Grinder's for philly's and pizza.
