Hi lancerdoom, as per the rules in the first post, you are only allowed to submit 1 design for this competition.lancerdoom wrote:hi, i am new to legit reviews. and i am willing to enter in this contest...but can i post more than 1 art work on that?

For any new entries you'll need to do it like expertoc did for the sticker to come out right. HIS/AMD sent over the drawing, but it isn't situated right if you have a case winner. If you already did a design then no worries, but you can flip it around before the gfx is printed up in sticker form.expertoc wrote:My entry!

Wow guys this is pretty embarrassing… it looks like indulgedesigns and I used the same elf in our cards. I wasn’t sure if I should post mine now, but I spent the last 2 weeks working on it so I’m going to anyway. I guess I’ll try and change it before the contest deadline since it apparently needs to be flipped anyway.
Re: Dec 2009 Contest - Design Your Own HIS 5870 Video Card Art!
OK I just flipped it and put it in my original post, hopefully it's the right way nowManduh wrote:These entries are great, Good competition that's for sure
I did a couple and it was really hard to choose which one to submit, hopefully I went with the right one
I chose this one because it expresses my love to paint, even though I don't get to do it too much anymore.

Yeah, I just flipped mine over too. I edited my original post to reflect the change. It was a little tricky but it worked out just fine.
Hey forest_wind; that's too bad that you've both used the same image. What are the chances? I'm sure if you kept it like it is, no one would hold it against you. Accidents happen. That's why I tried to stay away from any clip-art or royalty-free images. There's always the possibility that someone else would find the same image and use it, thereby sending you back to the drawing board.

I sorta just assumed it was all supposed to be original artwork... Will flip my image today. What are the chances that one person got the template right...

God dammit.
...
I'll do it tomorrow. But I think it ruins my card's design.

1) This contest is open to Legit Reviews forum members with a valid shipping address anywhere in the world, but taxes and tariffs are not covered if they should apply
2) The winner will be shipped his/her prize as soon as possible (if being shipped internationally it could take 4-8 weeks due to weather and/or customs)
4) Reply to this post to enter the contest by posting ONE (1) artwork submission
6) Depending on your location and how fast ATI makes the custom artwork will determine when you will get it. That means it could take a bit to reach you. Since we don't physically have the prizes we can't change shipping companies or tell you when it will exactly arrive or ship.
7) The deadline for entries will be January 22nd, 2010
8 ) The winner will be announced on January 25th, 2010
9) By submitting your artwork you give express consent to AMD, HIS and Legit Reviews to use your artwork
10) Use of Copyrighted images strictly prohibited
11) The one (1) Grand Prize entry will win a board with their design on it.
Not sure of those are Copyrighted images.
Re: Dec 2009 Contest - Design Your Own HIS 5870 Video Card Art!
Yes, copyrighted. As far as I know all of these have been 'Royalty Free' - therefore not copyrighted. I still think it's nice to be original artwork though...

Wow....what are the chances that (forest_wind) used the same graphics as I did. Though I did post mine first.......

It's the chance you take when you *ahem* steal *ahem* images.

I'm glad I kept the .psd of my design so it's easy to flip.

Hi stefandent, stefandent wrote:Excuse me,admin. Why are people fliping the originaly posted shape of die cut?I don't know what is right now?
With the original template HIS sent us, it was mistakenly the wrong way round. This meant that that if your design had text, when the design was applied to the graphics card and installed into a case, the text would be upside-down.
You can choose to flip your design now, or wait to see if you've won and flip the design then.
It won't affect judging if you've used the upside down template or not.
