Can anyone translate the so-called deadlines into a CET specific time and date, please? Some of us worked hard and maybe to the very last minute to get a shot at an interesting design and perhaps at one of the prizes. And I agree with whoever said that the deadline was poorly worded, no offense to the Admins. Thank you.

I imagine that the last few entries will still be counted and an Admin will make a post or close the thread when the deadline is met.

Just got to wait and see I guess.

what is vague about "7) The deadline for entries will be January 22nd, 2010"

I means you have it in by that time.. plus he said well before the deadline that it was 12:00am 1/22..

I'm a contest whore and the rules here are one of the most straightforward rules I have seen, they even reply in the thread real quick.

As for finding out what Jan 22 12:00AM CST is in your timezone, how about double clicking on the taskbar clock and changing the timezone yourself so you can see? Is that straightforward enough?

please show where anyone said that... i trawled through this topic for a specific time, and got none. A date only is not really clear enough.

And yeah, I basiclly worked my ass off for three nights with minimum sleep for my entry, and I'm very satisfied with the result. I love drawing and painting but I usually don't finish anything, so this is by far one of the best things I made in my opinion.

It was not officially stated in the rules. You can't expect someone to trawl through 25 pages of posts and scrutinize every one of them for this info.

I just looked threw the entry list.. wow, nice job everyone. I wont even be a hater to the people who used company logos/icons.. not everyone has the skill to draw their very own artwork but it still takes some creativity to make them look sweet.
