At least they are available and in stock at some shops here in Germany. 928 euros for the 250 GB at mindfactory.de

According to OCZ:

Vertex series SSD drives are available in ample storage capacities of 30GB, 60GB, 120GB, and 250GB. MSRPs at the time of launch are USD $129, $249, $469, and $869 for 30GB-250GB models respectively.

They also said that they will likely be in limited supply until '09 which means retailers will be jacking up the price on launch
