RAID
yep, same model same size!!
Oh and if you want a SUPER power awesome geekified system that will never get you a girl you could throw in Raptors at 10,000, but they are only like 72gb or something like hat, and REAL expensive.

Remember, I am opinionated and nothing I say or do reflects on anyone or anything else but me

Actually you can get a 36gb model Raptor for about 80 bucks
and if you put those puppies in RAID 0 they will SMOKE when it comes to reading/writing ops, the bandwidth will be enormous as well. I am hoping to either run dual drives (small raptor for programs, OS, etc; bigger
drive(s) to store crap) or a RAID with two of the smaller ones. Either way my programs will load fast. Seek time on Raptors is great.
Also I would say that for all intents and purposes, two 250mb or 320mb HDs will serve any and all purposes you could need. I would go with Hitachi, WD, or Seagate, as they are all pretty renowned for their quality. Tell us what you choose!!

I use a pair of 10,000RPM Western Digital RaptorX 150GB hard drives in RAID 0 with a stripe size of 128k and love them. I have a pair of 500GB drives that serve as storage, so i can handle the small capacity of these drives.
I've run raid on about 7 different sets of drives from 5400-10000RPM's and this is by far the way to go.
