First,
Make sure ALL your drivers are up to date! (Chipset, Video, Sound, etc)
If it doesn't fix it,
Then, Remove ANY usb/firewire/serial attached devices...we want to get to bare bones here.
If that doesn't fix it,
Then remove any PCI/PCIE/AGP cards...
Basically that stop error means it's trying to access a IRQL that's too high!

Do you get this every time you play the game? or just once. Do you know how to check your video drivers? (that should be a start...)zackcress1992 wrote:i have the little error codes that i see people post on all the forums to help fix my problem

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSODs are usually associated with Faulty or Incompatible Drivers. if you own a Logitech Mouse and are using Logitech Mouseware, This behavior is known to occur with Logitech MouseWare versions 9.10 and 9.24. Uninstall Mouseware, Reboot and Reinstall the Latest version 9.79 From HERE
incase you're NOT using Logitech Mouseware, download MemTest x86 and run it Overnight (4-5 Hrs) see if that helps.

(NB. idk means i don't know 24
)
Erm, I think they still say logitech on the bottom of the mouse somewhere, but aren't sure (not owning one and trying to recall from memory), so if they dont have logitech written somewhere on the bottom we'll just say that they are some generic dell ones.
But I really would reccomend downloading MemTest86+ like 24 said, and run it Overnight (4-5 Hrs) and see if you get any error messages.
If you don't know how to run it, you will need a blank CD, unzip and burn the Memtest ISO download to it, then boot your computer from the CD (turn the computer off then on with the CD in the drive).
Run this for hours on end and see if it reports any errors.

i know what 'idk' means
being a Dell System though, is it still in warranty? if yes then you should contact Dell about changing Ram, if not then Open the case yourself and replace the ram. if you want to know HOW to do that, Check Out this Tutorial Here. it also includes pictures. personally, i prefer just replacing the Ram instead of wasting 4-5 hrs running Memtest. whatever works for you i guess

Yeah, it sounds like a simple phone call to Dell might help you. They are quite good at walking you through various (basic) diagnostics. Give them a call and let us know what they say. If you still aren't satisfied, we can at least give you more pointed advice instead of hunting and pecking in the dark.
