Gigabyte i-RAM ripoff?

Only difference being i-RAM uses PCI and has a batterypack whereas this new thing is on PCI-X1 and doesn't seem to have a battery (uses external power instead). :?

not working as a hard drive. What i want is a DDR2 version, that way we can fit more than 8gb and it wont cost so much.
