BEWARE nForce4 and NCQ!

I figured out what was wrong with my Raptor. Native Command Queing was on. It was corrupting my data. It got so bad that I had to install the recovery console and CHKDSK /R from there. Now those stupid Event ID 51s (error detected during a paging operation) are gone, and boot time is lower!

The reason I posted this is because I have observed a 22 page thread at nVidia's forums about how the nForce4 storage controller is a biznitch. I'm one of the lucky ones, disabling NCQ fixed it. But for some, it's worse and NCQ is not the answer.

I can't really remember but does the Raptor have NCQ?

Yah it does. The 150 does anyways not sure about the others...
I used NCQ on my raptors on a Nforce4 board for a while and it was running fine.
The only thing is that you need to install older drivers or something cause I know the newer would not let you do it or you would have problems.
