im thinking about getting a Cheetah but i dont really know much about this SCSI interface stuff. how does it compare with SATA? anything special needed on my mobo for it?
also does anyone know any websites that compare the 15k RPM Cheetahs with 10k RPM Raptors? I have some Raptors and they are amazing but i am curious about these Cheetahs. thanks!

I prefer Seagate's Cheetah HDDs coz they boasts of 15K RPM while WD Raptors boast 10K.Raptors r super performers too.

Do you think more mobos are going to have scsi controllers in them? or would that have to be a chipset feature. I want to see a 680i w/ scsi built in

Don't forget, you can probably get PCI cards for SCSI interface. I have two or three of them, along with two Cheetah's and two Baracuta's. They're waiting to be used, so I can't really say anything about 'em. I do not believe they are 15k RPM though, I believe my Cheetah's are only 10k RPM. Still, they should be quick enough.
