IDE to SATA?

I have an old 120 gig IDE HDD, and I would like to put it in my newer dell. I know the dell only accepts SATA drives.

I have seen IDE to SATA boards but I am worried about space. The hard drives in my case are seated with the output ports located right against the side of the case.

I'm wondering if one of these boards will be small enough to fit considering the space issues. Has anyone used one of these? are they low profile?

The SATA cable is to short to put the HDD anywhere else in the case, so my options are limited.

If it won't fit, what brand should I purchase on a limited budget? I don't use a lot of space, so I dont need anything bigger than a 120 gig.

I bought one of THESE for that exact purpose and it worked like a charm and its a very low profile as you can see by the pics.

yeah, that definatly wouldnt fit. here is a little drawing of my situation

___free space_____ |

Bottom of case____ ^ side of case

the other problem is that it is all the way against the botom o the case, near the side, and directly under the other HDD. Maybe Im just screwed and have to buy a new HDD

EDIT: I guess I could always just purchase an external HDD enclosure and use it as an external drive. The price will be pretty much the same (hdd enclosure: $18.00, IDE-SATA: $15.00)
